Our Current Services - Coronavirus COVID-19

Due to the current guidance to avoid travel and limit social contact, we have unfortunately had to make the decision to close our drop-in offices and outreaches, and to suspend all face-to-face appointments. A number of our usual outreach locations such as GP Surgeries and libraries have also been made unavailable to us. We feel this is the only possible course of action to preserve the health of our staff, volunteers and clients.

With this in mind, we are adding extra advisers to our telephone lines and also introducing a webchat feature to this website for advice.

Our advice line is currently open 9am-2pm Monday to Friday. We will have extra advisers logged in to take your call while our outreaches and offices are closed.

GP Surgery Outreaches

We will continue to provide a service via GP surgeries but this will be by telephone advice only. Contact your GP surgery to book a telephone appointment with Citizens Advice.

If you are currently getting advice with us through a specialist caseworker, please contact them by their mobile phone number. If you don't currently have their number, please contact our advice line (0300 4568437) who will be able to get a message through to your caseworker.

You can also access the Debt and Money Advice website, CABmoney. This is a free guide and resource and includes an online Debt Management Plan system that you can use to help manage your debts.

We are still here to help…. Although we cannot currently help people face to face, we have increased the number of advisers staffing our Advice Helpline. In addition to this, we are offering telephone appointments for our key projects, casework services and follow up calls throughout the day so that people can get bespoke tailored advice (including linking to other vital services) in these difficult times.
